Star Trek: Season Three

In 1968, Star Trek was falling apart. Narrowly saved from cancellation by one of the few successful fan campaigns in history (thus giving hope to all the ineffective ones today), creator Gene Roddenberry stepped down in protest of the series being moved to Friday nights, considered a death slot at the time. The quality suffered and the series limped off air at the end of the season.
